Piano

I've been playing piano since the age of 7. Each year it got progressively more difficult with each grade. I'm currently in grade 9 RCM and have been for about 2 years. I was with a marvellous teacher, Virginia Taylor who always pushed me to connect with music on a more emotional level and to allow the music to "speak" fully. Though the COVID-19 pandemic impeded my learning slightly, it did not stop fully. In the past few years, I have received several awards from the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association all for music composed by Canadian musicians. I have competed at the Davenport Festival of Music and performed at ORMTA's Contemporary Showcase for the Mississauga region.
