SharePoint File Migration

As part of this project, I worked along side many groups to design a SharePoint site and organization system that had both publicly and privately visible spaces. Through my course on AWS, I was able to apply my knowledge of Identity & Access Management to create access groups and apply permissions to specific pages and folders. Using this, I created a portion that is visible to the entire club and a portion that is visible only to the Executive Team.

With the addition of Access Groups, I was able to simplify the way permissions were distributed. This design allows the SharePoint Manager to change membership in the Access Group, centralizing the permissions. This also helps avoid errors and increases scalability as there is one place to change permissions and pages can be shared with access groups based needs.
